DEIS reflects and repeats a shifting inner monologue from a spectrum of 2020’s fleeting feelings — self-doubt, helplessness, self-belief, elation, ambivalence.

This recurring emotional basis feeds an intuitive, anti-descriptive musical and lyrical reference point, relying on repetition and pushing to satisfy familiar musical urges. These are drawn and quartered across the four tracks: ‘Pointless’ and ‘Thorax’ as sedation, ‘Powerless’ and ‘Angel’ as relief/excitation.
